Default Oil Pan Gasket

Changing the oil pan gasket as it was leaking like a sive. I know to put RTV in the corners of the pan where the block and front/rear cover meet, but should I put a bead sign the entire gasket? Really donít want to have to take the whole engine cradle out again just for this gasket so I want to get it right the first time.

I would, I think you can get a series 3 pan with the built in windage tray and rtv the whole thing on with no gasket

If I take the engine out again down the road I may upgrade to a series 3 Pan, thanks for the suggestion.
