3800 L36/L67 Map Sensor info needed?

Hey guys, I was wondering if the map sensor for the l36 and the l67 are the same, but in different shapes. IE....if I were to cut the wires on the harness going into the l67 map sensor, and plugged in the l36 map, and attached a vacuum source, would the l36 map work. Are both 2 bar maps? Any info will help. Thanx.

nah cheif, they are totally different.

on the GT, it is sitting right on top of the plenum on the left side. no vacuum lines are there. it is plugged into where the PCV valve is.

on the GTP, it is sitting behind the blower on a little bracket(which i am sure you already know). different connector and the whole nine.

Yea I know there in different spots. But i didnt know if they were still wired up the same on the inside.

i am not the wire guy, but i am going to say yeah they are the same then. when i did the EGR delete, in both the GT and GTP, you both cut the middle wire in both cars. so i would have to say yes then. but i am NOT the wire guy, so i would call digital ken at ZZP and ask him.
