3800 HISSING SOUND????

I get this hissing sound coming somewhere from the passengers side of the car... it ONLY goes away when i either press on the gas pedal, or put the front defrost on. anyother way does not stop the hissing?... any ideas? someone said it might be a hose.. but why would it stop when the front defrost is on or the gas pedal is pressed.. and not any other way? please help.. i love my gtp but i go insane with that sound... it is a 2000

I had it b 4 but i dont remember what it was...it was a hissing sound that was constant and i found out what it was but i forgot what it was ...maybe i'll remember later i'll post
