Went through the toll way heading out to zack's house to install my headers, and went to roll my window back up...and it wouldn't budge.
I took it apart and tried to see what was wrong. It sounds like the motor tries to go down, but not up, which led me to bleieve that maybe the switch burned out.
Then I tried bypassing the switch by connecting power to the window-up wire (same thing that happens when you press the up button, except wiuth a wire and no switch). Well, it made sparks and nothing happened. Therefore, it cant be ONLY the switch that is shot, right?
Sparks came out, but the window didn't move. I'm thinking that my window motor shorted, causing my switch to burn out. Anyone have any idea?
Leo, how much can you get me a switch and driver's side window motor for?
