I've might have found the car I want. Although still hesitant, I would like to sell my GTP. I prefer to sell it intact with all the mods. A lot of time and care has been put in the car and I don't want to disassemble it.
Highlight tid bits:
-Brand NEW 1 month alternator
-Battery is about 2.5 years old - Red Optima
-NEW L32 heads - which means all new gaskets down to the heads.
-All NEW 1 month idler pulleys
-Struts and springs (stock replacements) have about 25K
-Walbro Pump is 1 year old.
-Replace EGR with newer, less miles due to troubleshooting.
-Mobile 1 before 3K miles expires w/ Mobil201 or KnN2001 filter
-CPS replaced last year
-I have EVERY receipt (except private party sales) for parts and maintenance for the car. A lot of documentation to prove the car has been taken care off.
-Car is IMMACULATE inside. 1997 - and everything inside works. All lights work. NO FADING on any of the control buttons.
-I'm very proud of this fact: not a single door ding on the outside. If you see a red GTP on the outskirts of a parking lot - thats probably me.
-Car has never been in an accident.
At this point, I feel that nothing can go wrong on the engine. I took the sc apart last week to replace the sc gasket. My annoying whistle is gone. Point of worry will be the tranny which is the original tranny. I often pump out the tranny fluid for replacement. Perhaps the constant refreshing of the fluids have prolonged it's life. The Cya Racing LSD is good for it as well.
