I dont think you can but can u take out everything that makes up the GTP into a GT like the SC and Stuff...I know it might sound stupid and all but i was just wondering.. and a little hung over

Although you can take the S/C, manifold, injectors, etc off the GTP and swap them directly onto the GT, I wouldn't want to run a lot of boost on the stock compression ratio of the GT, which is 9.4:1, whereas the GTP has a cr of 8.5:1.

The Compression ratio in the cylinders. The gt engine's pistons go up farther, and therefore compress the A/F mixture more. This helps get more power out of naturally aspirated engines. But with efficient SC and Turbo's you want a lower compression. Also the connecting rods and pistons are weaker in the gt engine when compared to the gtp engine.

Thats not totally true. People up the compression ratio on a GTP, but you need to harden alot of the engine.

it is not worth it to put an m90 onto a gt, so much stuff is needed....m90, intakes, injectors, fuel rails, crank pulley, idler pullies, tensioners, HD tranny, you might as well just put on a CSC

Don't forget the most important difference between the two is the heads.

It would be so much easier to just do an L67 swap and even easier than that would be to buy a GTP.
