3800 Help me plan out the GTP buildup

Ok... later in the year I want to do some stuff to the GTP ... so far i'm planning:

SLP Headers
Cut-out
Rockers
3.25 pulley
TR6 plugs
LP IC
my own PCM tune

~where should that put me ? I don't wanna go crazy.. just run 13s ...

Anything else I should consider?

With the IC, get a 3" pulley. Should be no problem whatsoever. The stock SC reaches the maximum limit for reliable operation beyond that. With that set-up, you'll be knocking on 12's door.

You should definitely get a 3.0".
With the headers I would not be surprised if we got a 2.8" to work well. So I would suggest a Modular pulley system

how about transmission... I know that they are a weak link on these cars ... think it'll last 20 or so passes at the track a year? (street tire only...)

Maybe a FWI or something, For tranny, atleast an LSD.

Heres what you do. You sell me the T/A for 5$. Then you take that 5$ and but one hell of an air freshener, or you could buy an APC sticker, that adds like 10hp to the wheels.

That looks like a good list. Your tranny may last a while, it may not. Trannys are different like that. Usually if you want to upgrade, you could go with the INTENSE tranny, and never worry about it.

Lemme know if you still wanna try to fit the thrasher box in your car. Ill swing by and see if it fits.

Swap out the SLP's for TOG's and you got a good list of mods
