Any tricks/tips? My springs are being reused, should I put in spacer to bring up the rear while I'm in there? My ass end is a little droopy. I've got a couple of spring compressors to do this. I was also wondering if the upper cups should be replaced while I'm at it. Got about 80K on the car. TIA

I would replace the upper strut mounts I'll be doing mine hopefully at Bumpins mod day. As for tricks I really dont have any but do the rear first cause being in the trunk is not very roomy..

Definetly replace the strut mounts/ upper spring perch. At 81,000 miles all four of mine are already spent.

Why not replace the springs while you're in there? It's going to help your traction if they are sagging and replacing the springs with standard OEM springs will be better than band-aiding a fix with spacers.

Check out the Moog Cargo Coils. A full set of four can be had for next to nothing.

a lot of work with all the seperate pieces. You got the strut mounts, springs, strut, assembling them.....to much work.

I reallyliked the GMPP kit. Everything brand new and assembled. Just slid right in like a piece of cake.

Ron you should definatley replace those springs and strut mounts cause I can garuntee you will replace your strut and a month later you will tear it apart again to put in new strut mounts........Do it all at once and be done with it.

Yeah, I was amped to get it all done before driving out to Norwalk next month. Looks like I'll wait and do it right.
