3800 GTP Runnin Weird.

Hey whats up everyone? Just a little question, i ran into a mustang gt tonight, we both floored it, i was behind a car length, but thats cause i was turning with him on the same road so i was behind, anyways, at about 90 mph my engine started to bogg out, like it lost it power...whats that about?

Sounds like knock. When you get excessive knock..your car will pull timing..Thus decreasing power to your car. That is probably what you felt.

Have you had your car tapped as Hale mentioned? I feel now that the weather is gettigng warmer..Alot of ppl are going to be seeing some increased KR..

same thing here, atap the car. do you have a exhaust at all. this is a shot in the dark, but it might not be KR. you dont have too many mods, but with the pulley you probably need a exhaust but i dont think KR is a big issue here. with just that kind of pulley, you lose alot and the top end. that just might have been the issue. need more mods, cuz with your mods, once it get into fourth gear, with a 3.4 the car just loses everything. at least to me it did.

gtpkid where do you live? If close to Aurora I could tap your car or if you want to run out. It lets you look at the performance of your car. You can see your o2's kr timing and just about anything else. You also could be seeing some top end misfires.
