3800 WTF! power windows super slow!

ok, my windows in my 98 coupe are really fawking slow now, and its pissing the shit outta me. is there somthing that wears out on our cars? simple fix maybe?

can anyone let me know?

I would like to know as well. If I try putting both windows up at the same time, it takes a good 20 seconds.

Pull off the door panel.


Take a look at the window track. Make sure it is properly greased. If it is not greased properly... grease it. Also take a look at the reluctor.(the mechanism that moves the window up and down) MAke sure that it is on its track and that it is not snagging anywhere. Also listen to the motor and make sure it does not sound like it is straining. If it is odds are the motor is about to burn out.

yes my were solw then i cleand the track and such and they were fine...so i would do that...But they are slow again :angry:
