Ive never done one before, but how is this for you.

Plus one other thing, incase you want to have your gauge light turn on when your dash lights do.

go there and then click "upgrades" on the left. Then go down to protection and you will see a link to "light up your gauges".

your best bet is to return it and get an electric one.
do you really want a line filled with hot oil running into your interior?? what a mess that would be if you sprung a leak....even a small one.

I prefer the mechanical oil pressure gauge for the longer sweep and quicker refresh.

I've installed one in mine and it's not that bad. I had one in my Taurus for 2 years and never had a problem.

Remember, if installed correctly, oil will never reach the gauge.

hey i installed my gauges in my car, haven't done that gauge but i can give ya a hand if ya want. call Aaron he's got my cell # if you need a hand.
