3800 MAFF freq at idle?

I was just fooling around with my AFC and I set it to 102%, started up car and it was idling very rough. Checked out my MAFF and it was around 1200, dipping down to 0 and the high was around 1800 at idle.

What should the idle MAFF be around? Wonder if there is something wrong with my AFC.

It's different for different years, but a range of 1800 to 2200 is about where you want to be. Sounds like the Maf goin south or a bad connection. If it's ok w/o the afc it could be that, the wires in and out of the afc endure a lot of vibration if its not mounted. If it's used, one of the wires could be broken under the sleeving from the vibration.

yeah, car runs fine without the AFC. I will play around with it a little and see what is going on.

ok ok ok, I am an idiot. I had the car running at 2%, not 102%.

set the car to 100% (with the AFC) and the car dies, when I set the car to 0% (failsafe mode, bypasses the AFC) the car runs fine.

Just venting because I can't work the AFC.
