Default TD Ben's Twin engine custom car goes 9.11 @ 145mph

Yup trans are slipping bad, especially the rear since I can't turn down the power.
Up front I limit the power to 20 psi of boost.

9.11 @ 145 mph backing off before the end (out of gear on the rev limiter because of trans/torque converter slip).
Easily an 8 second car if we can get the trans to hold the power. I can't lower power more at the back so I will have to put on a bigger wastegate.
then with less slip and less power the car will go faster.

Ran a 1.32 60 foot in practice, then tried a full pass for the 1st time. 9.11 @ 145mph.
0-60 mph was recorded by GPS at 1.6 seconds !

Car revs 6900rpm from start to finish the shift light never turns OFF !!! Talk about slip...
The traction was really good making the problem even more obvious.

There are/were two types of Precision converters...

One billet.. the other not... non billet ones are basically stock replacements in
terms of strength and all that. I've never seen one in person to compare, but
possible you got a used non billet weak sauce version for the front?

They build them to stall at a given tq, if you had them build it you should have told them how much tq the motor would make ball park and they would build it for that, otherwise they just guessed and probably low and that's why your blowing through it

I told 700 to 800hp and lots of torque. But i made the mistake of telling them factory 4t80e was way too tight for spooling. Which it is. But i need tighter up top.

Also they went with a 3 bolt torque non viscous lots of changes.

Its clear they guessed the power way off.

send it back then with the some logs and what not of the TCC slip and all that jazz, and have them restall it again for a more proper setup.

Find out too how to check if front is billet or not. Might be able to send both in, to get modified for proper power levels.

Front doesn't slip nearly as bad and may be alright...

In the front in that video I was fine, only running 20 psi RPM wasn't too high. I probably short shifted it since they are linked together and I was trying not to overrev the rear engine.

Later in the day, I cranked boost up to 26 psi in the front and took off in 2nd gear. Resulted in a lot of wheel spin and 1.5 60 foot and a slower 660 with decent MPH. The log showed overrevving bad... near the rev limiter like the rear setup.

Both converters cannot handle more than 20 psi of boost I believe. Even then they are near their limit.

Looked at my email to Precision Industries who built my rear torque converter...
And I told them 700HP which is lower than what I really make.

This is the converter I bought, it was 868$

Vigilante Torque Converters | Precision Industries

I'm sure once they readjust it, it will be a beast !
