Looking at used axles for spares and it seems the interchange for the left and right axles are very large. Most GM FWD cars have the same axles ?
Does that make sense or the SUpercharged GTP axles are beefier than say a 2006 Impala 3.8 N/A ?

Sc have the hd diff with larger passenger diff spline on inner tulip than NA.
shaft length does vary, outer CV does not.
i Inner tulips have a major change with the G, C H & B body platforms to a cylindrical roller bearing instead of a spherical roller bearing on the inner tripod joint

as long as you have the passenger inner tulip from the HD/SC you can put it onto a NA/nonHD axle to make a gtp axle.
youll have no problem popping the big clamp and swapping on an HD/SC tulip and reclamp.

hopefully your inner tulip isnt too worn on the roller path....the roller hitting the edge of a worn path tends to induce the vibration under power that many people feel.

be aware im refering to OEM parts. many parts store axles dont use oem sized components and lack the mix and match abilities of the oem design.

we're looking at a bunch of frankenshafts for ours. over the years ive been collecting minty low mile outer and inner CV's from all the low mile cars in the junkyard.
