3800 AFC 1.0

I just bought one of these used for $60. My 02's are around 880 - 900 but I have 0 kr with my 3.25. I havn't done any scans with my 3.0 but I will once I get my AFC in.

Anyone have the 1.0 and is it easy to use? any suggestions before I screw something up

It's really easy to use. Don't go too rich, or more KR will spring up. Try 102% to start with, then go up in 2% increments. When you've gone too far it'll sound blurbly. Most people with general mods end up using from 102 to 108%.

Yea, you seem to be a little lean..If your not seeing too much KR with the 3".....Try 100 octane...You dont have to run it staight....To save $$ you can blend a 1/4 93 to a 1/4 100 or a 1/4 to a 1/2 until you start seeing KR. This will depend on your application...I used a 1/4 to a 1/4 in the summer with an ocasional 1 or 2 degrees on the really hot days....

I used Gas City 100 at $3.50.....They use meth-alcohol as a octane increse-ment....My theory is the pysical propertys of the alcohol's combustionability also aids like a cooling IC effect...Just an Idea, cant use lead and octane boosters dont work and can be damaging...Have fun..

well I am hoping for 0 kr now but I doubt I will have 0 kr in the summer due to no headers (just ported manis) I will figure it out later this week.

The cam is helping you.....Headers will help too...Keep the gas in mind-you may need it in the summer...
