Imagine, a no budget limit twin engine...the possibilities.
I know exactly what I would do and what engines.

Fully race built Ecotechs, two sequential LSD transmissions ( 1/2 mile and 1 mile runs)
Full Chromoly frame. 2500lbs total weight. 3000HP, AWD !

But I'm not rich so I'll have to live with my old iron 3.8s and boat anchor power robbing transmissions.

Just weighed a stock 4t65-HD with almost no fluid and no converter (180lbs) that means it's over 215HP wet with converter. The 4t80e is probably 300lbs. Just in transmissions 520lbs or so, plus the fact I have two times more drivetrain loss than most. To make 950WHP which is my estimate for my twin engine, I had to make way over 1200HP and near 30 psi of boost per anemic engine.

dry weight the 80e is 65lb heavier

20% loss is the same whether its one trans or two. the 80e is a heavier loss than a 65e much in the way the th350 is more efficient than a 400 if it can handle the power.

but its cheaper to lose a little than go full retard on a 65e.
