3800 crap wrong thing

Ok I just realized something. After 98 they changed how the air intake was.

I recently bought a used thrasher cai and it was on an 01.

So this intake wont fit a 97 or 98 right? Or will it? Well not atleast without some different parts or something right?

I know that I will need 99+ coolant recovery tank. Next time i need to think ahead more.

Just need to know what I'll have to do. Thanks.
