Used Comp G struts...worth a try?

I intend to lower my car so not sure if that's a good idea to go with Comp G struts with less than 80k miles. What do you think fellas? Worth a shot or shut up and get new ones?

Are these different looking than regular struts so I know the difference when I look at the rears?

im saving em for when a strut falls off

no difference visible, part number on body if you can read it, but i dont know the part number off hand...the rears are on the TR till the coilovers go on.

200 years ago struts lasted 50k That's some bullshit someone that went to UTI would say.

If the struts aren't blown I would toss them on all day long.

EDIT: but if you can trade James for free.99, do it. It would be nice for someone to use his parts in 2015..
