3800 COMCAST HAS BEEN UPGRADED

We have been upgraded from a 1.5Mbps line to a 3.0 Mbps line... i noticed it wheni was downloadin this file and it was going at 425k/sec

And i called Tech Support and they told me they were upgrading.

So basically we can download even faster now... Much much more happy now for those big 3 gig downloads..

my friend just told me this and he talked to a comcast service rep and they said to reset your modem and you will be fine....seems faster to me!!! hahahaah

Unplug it for 60 seconds...you all should have received an e-mail telling you this.

Before, speeds were capped at 1800/256, they are now capped at about 34-3600/256.

Anything within 10% of your advertised speed is good. My last speed test yielded 3340/247, which is damn good...I hate to say it, but Comcast is better than @home was speed-wise.

yea but i wished they upgraded the upload as well, but according to the user agreement we arnt to be using their service as a server. Therefore the upload stays low but reasonable
