me personally.... if i was in your shoes and not working on it myself- just order a pre programmed pcm for the people doing the work to throw on the car.

well i technically i am doing it myself its my buddies shop im providing all the parts of course....so maybe i should order a pre programmed pcm and then throw it on as i do the top swap?

it will still start to run and drive it may not be crisp and nice but as long as you leave the supercharger belt off you should not have any problem driving it for a day or two while you're waiting for your PCM

ok thanks haha i will pre order pcm and install it while im doing the top swap after i get this done im doing 3.4 pulley swap, cai, cold tstat/spark plugs, tog downpipe as well as tog headers for now cams intercooler and exhaust will come in next year

and then as for guages im getting a kr and boost guage since i know gtps are famous for blowing up with too much kr because of lack of mods to support lower pulleys

Your going to want headers and a cam before you get the 3.4 on probably, I ran a top swap with a gen v s1x cam and headers on a 3.4 if I put the 3.2 on it knocked then I switched to e85 and ran the 3.0 pulley

That is for a lower compression Gtp motor, with the NA motor you will most likely need headers(Inc. Dp) intake, and a custom tune to really run a 3.4 to a safe max. You will not be at the full potential of a 3.4 bit you can make more power than on a 3.8 pulley. A 3.6 pulley is a great place to go for a top swap with just intake and headers with a canned tune.

do yerself a favor and toss an oxygen sensor on that list...unless you know it was replaced and has less than 50k on it id look at a new one...the slowly skew/degrade over time and it is a primary "trusted" sensor.
your also gonna want those plugs when you do the topswap (leave old plugs in new heads, install everything (exh manifolds) then install the new plugs to minimize chance of cracking a porceline.
dont get less than a 180* t stat.

HD/menards for a DIY HAI/CAI, and a good 4" filter (stay away from spectre, though they are cheap they rust away after a winter...cheap steel mesh on em)

If it was an l67 he would be fine, but 3.6 for a topswapped car is safe and still fast enough. Plenty of Torqz

Negative. The l67 part is the block. You wont have a l67 until you actually swap the entire motor.

Because i keep looking up all supportings mods for a 3.4 pulley and everyone says downpipe, cold tstat, cold spark plugs, headers, stage 1 throttle body, cold air intake, pcm tune....so thats where im getting my info from.....lol i dont want to fuck up my car if that info is wrong

Well, your block is higher compression than a l67 meaning you will need less boost to make the same amount of power. Most of those write-ups are for the gtp aka already superhcarged l67 block.

You can still do those mods, i would just do a 3.6 pulley first instead of the 3.4 and see how she runs.

What he said ^^^ Those are supporting mods for a GTP, not a top swapped GT. That's why TCG has the best 3800 TECH in the bidness.
