the owner of great lakes dragstrip was at our little modified super stock banquet saturday night and this is what the guy said. great lakes is making alot of changes this year. they are going to make each lane 5 feet wider, they are repaving the whole track, and putting up concrete barriors i believe all the way down to the finish line. the whole thing costs about $300,000 i think is what the guy said. so this year i just might go back there a couple two, tree more times. just thought i would let you guys know ahead of time.

that is what they where talking about. they say it is going to be alot better. no more pot holes down the track and none of that. cars should hook better now. we will see what happens though. i dont believe it, but i will see and try it(like i got a choice ).

they just did there track for last year. Mabey theyll pave the staging lanes that would be nice and that concrete divider.

yeah it was repaved last year, and now again. i guess that just goes to show you how shitty that track really is. i hope it is better this year, i know it will be safer.
