My brother goes to UTI and wanted to take my car to test it out in one of his labs. He ran a Compression Test Dry/Wet & a Cylinder Leakage Test. These numbers seem very good considering they are with in one PSI or %. My Question is, does anyone know what they should be at from the factory. He wasnt able to check at school.

Cylinder #1 Dry Reading PSI=135 PSI Wet Reading PSI=143 PSI

Cylinder #2 Dry Reading PSI=134 PSI Wet Reading PSI=145 PSI

Cylinder #3 Dry Reading PSI=135 PSI Wet Reading PSI=145 PSI

Cylinder #4 Dry Reading PSI=135 PSI Wet Reading PSI=145 PSI

Cylinder #5 Dry Reading PSI=135 PSI Wet Reading PSI=145 PSI

Cylinder #6 Dry Reading PSI=135 PSI Wet Reading PSI=145 PSI

Cylinder #1 Compression Leakage Test = 16%

Cylinder #2 Compression Leakage Test = 16%

Cylinder #3 Compression Leakage Test = 17%

Cylinder #4 Compression Leakage Test = 16%

Cylinder #5 Compression Leakage Test = 16%

Cylinder #6 Compression Leakage Test = 16%

I think 150 wet is like a brand new engine.

Dry, its a little lower cuase the oil creates a very nice seal around the rings for more compression.

You do want consistant wear though across all cylinders, so that is good.

you compresion looks good.

I did a dry test in the summer, and IIRC, they were just like yours.

How many miles on your engine>>?????????
