Hale, there's a guy I've used for aluminum welding out your way several times. And this is no joke, that may be able to be welded. Many times the weld will end up stronger than the metal surrounding it. As long as the crack does not extend into certain areas. He's off of 31 in oswego. His business is making custom wrought iron fences, but he is a fabricator and makes his own bike frames and such. Of course, it'd have to come out and brought to him. I'd like to check it out and see if it's possible to weld.

And it happened cause I rushed and was frozen. Sucks working in 20 deg weather on the soaking wet ground. But I learned a lesson and now I get to get the trans built right this time.
