Doing trans again, along with SD headers soon. I want to replace as many of the engine sensors as possible as my car has over 150k miles now and they've never been replaced as far as I know. I feel like it'd be best to do with the trans out.

Can anyone tell me what sensors to get/what brands to go for or which ones to avoid?

Anything else I should look into taking care of at this mileage when having the trans out?

150k really isn't that much, why fix something that ain't broke?

I would however, pull the motor/trans together (it's easier anyways) and do a full gasket overhaul on the motor.

If you decide to replace sensors anyways, only get OEM parts. Anything that isn't OE is garbage, especially when it comes to electronics.

Stick with your current sensors unless of course you know something is bad. The worst thing would be to install a DOA sensor and have to do all the work over again or try to figure out what isn't working. x2 on oil pan gasket while it's out, even if it isn't leaking yet. LIM gasket if you're bored, coolant elbows too.

I thought power logs were better for pretty built SC and turbo setups. Didn't really matter to me when I bought them anyways, I'm just sick of the stock steel ones rusting up my engine bay.

I'm having a hell of a time finding a 3.05 trans for $350-$400 which is what I've paid for all of mine with 30-50k miles on them. Now I'm getting prices like $650 with 80k miles on them.
Totally killed my trans in front of the house about 30 minutes ago so guess I'm going to have to get raped on an over priced high miles one.

Took me a while to get it, but I finally made it out to Hundts Auto Salvage in Plymouth IN with the help of Vostok to get the 11k miles trans. We thought we were making great time til we realized they're an hour ahead of us. Luckily I called them right before close and one of their employees was able to meet us there to get me the trans.

Came from an 08 that had an engine fire. No worries about bullshit like last time happening where the guy failed to mention the drivers side wheel took a violent direct hit and broke the trans internally.

Whats the best write up to do a DIY shift kit where you replace the 1-2 spring with another 2-3 spring? The ones I found mention having to do something different for the spring swap but were not clear enough for me to understand. I suck at internetting.
