I have a 97 with 115K miles and a CSC on it that is having issues shifting lately, I'm not sure why...

I also have a 98 with 96K miles and its going to need assistance as well...........

timeframe is 1 - 3 months for both of them.

If you can get a nice deal on it, probably mid to late summer is when my trans will blow. I'm almost expecting my non -HD trans to go boom after my car hits low 14's.

Hey,

No offense intended, but the price I got quoted *WAS/IS* good, no mistake; however, I'm very nervous about dropping 2K and getting no warranty. Of course I understand if I take it to the track and thrash it, that is MY problem, but the email was like once it left the shop there was no possibility of anything.

At this point though, I've made ZERO decision which way I'm going at all, but getting ALL the options in advance never hurts. I very well may show up with not 1, but two cars to get done. Or for that matter, maybe I'll get one done and see how it goes, etc.

I'm going to be in the market for one. Cause I need gears,input shaft and thinking of the output shaft. Might have an intense lsd to sell but would need a stock core. Depends on how soon I need a trans. LP i'll let you know tommorrow about getting the tc done.

Sorry I came off as a dick but i really do think we have the best pricing out there for a really quality job.

Oh, and about the warranty, if its a defective part, not due to wear, and can be proven, im sure there will be no prob with replacing the part.

When I finally get my teaching job in august, I will get a new tranny with 3.29 gears. Id rather do it as a planned job, instead of being like, oh shit, now what.

IM at 79k on the original and it is running like a gem, but i dont want to take chances. IM starting to get pretty well modded and dont want to take chances being stranded.

Im going to be looking into a torque converter, input shaft, lsd possibly in the summer, but I don't plan on getting a new tranny. Maybe have mine rebuilt with race clutch packs, but ill have to wait and see what kind of money i have.
