Will he do that or not? I mean when I do the exhaust I would like to just ditch the cat and resonator. Also what would everyone suggest for mufflers? Looking for a deep low growl while idling then a roar when putting it to the floor. And one more thing whats everyone think about glasspacks? I bet it'd be louder than what I want.

Jim does usually whatever you need to do ...any i would highly reccommend magnaflows..even tho i dont have them I love the sound alexgtp has them!

Well I wasn't sure if he would do it since its illegal to not have a cat. I mean when I get my plates renewed it will probably be in indiana not illinois. I hate that you guys have to have front plates.

i dont think will touch your cat. i remember someone saying or maybe Jim was telling me that he will not touch or remove your cat. maybe he was saying that cause he was working at Fair mufflers, now that he is working on his own could be a different story. Doesnt hurt to call him and ask.

I think the law is 50K miles before you can do anything to your cat. I may be wrong.

Well thats the law for replacing it. But I don't think you can just not have one no matter how many miles.

Hmm well I had no cat. He did modify an existing cat I had and welded it into a custom 3" pipe for me. SO he does work with you on that.

when i got my flex welded to my cat, at first he didn't think the flex would fit in there. and he seemed like he did not want to touch the cat. i guess it's just up to you and him

Without a cat and resonator wouldn't it be unbearably loud and have too much drone?

Cat doens't do anything for the sound,without a res you'll get a little better growl. Our stock mufflers really muffle the sound but aren't bad for performance.

mOST PLACES freak about cats. My place almost didint do it except they have been doin work on my cars for like 4 years.

The law is 50k miles or if its damaged....but they have to put a new one on. good luck.
