Long time lurker. Was on here at one point, but got my account
deleted in the great purge.

Been around since 98/99 on Clubgp. Some know me, a lot don't.

Worked for DHP for a few years up until it closed shop.

Wrote UVScan and disappeared for awhile due to some
personal life issues.

Well came back, and started working on a turbo build with
a buddy of mine. I had everything but the car itself and a garage.
So we bought a beater for a $1000 and got to work. This worked
out well for both of us actually. And has made it more fun I think.

Anyways car details, its a 2000. I used a 200k mile short block that
Mark Tischler refreshed for me. Just new bolts/bearings/rings and cleaned.
Original pistons, rods, crank blah.

PRJ did a lot of work on the car getting it all rewired and the fuel cell setup.

Rest of the pics/build over @ ClubGP Message Forum troubleshooting

Videos @ jdredd34 - YouTube

Car is currently sitting at TripleEdgePerformance awaiting a new
transmission refresh. MultiDisc locking converter, new internal parts,
and transbrake. Goal is to get into the 9.9x's on the T67. The
ZZP 3000 stall is pretty much shot and car did not get any faster
really from 19psi to 22psi. Converter slip was to much and loosing
to much power... well no more of that hopefully.

The car did very well in 2013. ~100 passes, majority in the 10's
and no real big failures. Only problem was the Aeromotive Eliminator
pumps crapping out. But that is a given with that :) .. But I think
got the problem figured out. Voltage was set way to low on the controller.....

Since Clubgp is dying, i've been looking for a new forum to move over to.
So hopefully this becomes a new stomping ground/home :)

Glad you joined! Was nice talking to you on FB :wavey:

Thanks :)

Good lawd... Had no idea you were that fast dude. Welcome!

I stay mostly in the Turbo section of CGP... so probably why :)

Glad to hear you're back at it. It's been a while.

Thanks.. it has been.

Welcome! Very nice build, hopefully you kill that 9.9 in 2014. :bigthumb:

Me too. If not, then i'll have to break out the bigger turbo and go from there.

Very nice, I remember reading your thread on CGP when it was active. Didn't you have a GS at one point too?

Nope. Had a 4dr Red GTP and still daily my 4dr White one. Red one got scrapped :(

whats Tischler been doing on the oiling system/oil windage on his motors?

I had him do zero modifications in that department. It was literally
just clean the block, put new bolts/bearings/rings in (not arp) and send
it back.

When I had it done, I wanted a stock replacement motor. It sat for
a year or two, and ended up using it for this.

When we installed it, nothing special was done. Just up'd the oil pressure
mod is all.

i've only recently talked to him since I had him do this block.

how often you change yer plugs? finding ash buildup on cyl 4?

id figure he'd still fit the rings to the bores but at least you have full ring tension lol

Only been 2 sets of plugs in it.. first set were a used set back when
the car first started in Sept of 2012..

Ran those up until about June/July of 2013? and started to get misfires on them down the track.
Replaced them with new 103's, and haven't looked since.

The first plugs pulled out, color was a tan colorish.. maybe a bit light
brownish? Since were used, can't tell for sure.

When car is back from TEP, ill be pulling them out for a new set.
