So I was driving my car around the block a few weeks ago after finally taking her out and washing her. On the way back for some reason I got stuck on a little upward hill. Gave it a little more gas and nothing. I actually started rolling backwards. I gave it more gas, didn't nail it just eased into it, and I started moving forward then nothing but rpm went to 4000. My trans blew. With 13000 miles on it. Amazing, that's what I get for going with Transmatic Transmissions in Crystal lake. I do NOT recommend anyone ever go there. I have been fighting them for years to fix it and because they installed my shift kit that they said they would warranty, the new manager sais they wouldn't fix it. ZZP wants 3000 for a race transmission. Anyone know of a place closer that could do the same thing?? I need to start looking around.
