3800 Rocker bolt part # and cost?

I'm trying to locate the part # for the rocker bolts to see if it would be cheaper to buy separately (bolts and valve cover gasket) or just by the kit at Intense for $40.

Dont forget you also need 2 valve cover gaskets.

ANd retainers.!

dont forget that is per bolt and you will need 12 of them. In fact I think you can only get them in a package of 12.

Retainers - I shouldnt have to change those, right? All I'm doing is taking out 1.9 rockers and putting stock back in.

IMO the retainers are not necessary. I have pulled my covers 4 or 5 times now and have reuse both the retainers and the gaskets.
If you are seeing leaks around the retainers or cover, that is when I would go and get those replacememt parts.

I am not 100% but i dont thing the Intense kit comes with the retainers, just the gaskets and bolts.

You are correct. The Intense kit does NOT include retainers.

Seems it will be cheaper to buy the bolts and gasket instead of buying the kit.
