3800 help on dvd's

ok, I was on ebay and gonna buy my sister the simpsons dvd season sets.


but there are all these versions out there.


I've never bought off ebay before sooooooo...

here are my stuipid questiosn


what does region 1 and 2 mean? will they play in my panasonic dvd player?


and then there are chinese versions, asian versions etc. there aren't that many us versions. will another version play?

you need region 1.. which is USA.. otherwise it most likely will not play on your dvd player.

Just make sure to se what other copies are going for so you don't get overcharged. That is a common mistake, to bid on the first set you see, gotta compare, look at the completed items over on the toolbar on the left to see what other sets went for to judge when to quit bidding so you don't pay too much!
