Let's talk headers.

Recently acquired a set of speed daddy headers from a friend of mine. These were already on a Park Avenue Ultra so I know they'll fit. What am I missing? Here's everything I got. Manifold gaskets are on order from zzp already. He said something about a v-band? I've never had any experience with headers in the past so I'm posting everything I got so I can figure out what I need. All 12 ARP header bolts are there along with washers.. so I guess that's good other than that, Idunno if the clamps I have are correct or this or that.

Those look like direct SLP knockoffs.

Is the flex in tact? That leaks super fast on the SLPs. Might want to get new clamps just in case.

My SLP's have ticked like a motherfucker since day one. I know 02bluegt had issues with figment on those speed daddy headers.

Mine ticked after a month. The flex that comes with them are garbage. I ended up buying a ZZP double wall flex, had it welded on by RV, then sold them to GTPMike.

Mine are the pacesetter knock-off ones. On my second flex now, but I think it is leaking again, so maybe time to get a new flex.... Or say fuck it

I looked at the pictures first and then started reading. I couldn't believe those weren't SLP header's. Seems like you're putting a lot into the P.A. recently.

I had Speed Daddy headers. They were great once i finally got them in. the hardest part was getting the back one in. I had to air hammer the shit out of the firewall and pull the engine as far forward as possible to squeeze it in. Make sure to use copper RTV on all the clamps to get a good seal.
