99 and 01 harness the same?

i know performance shift needs to be added....but i have an 01 that im thinking about replacing the engine harness on.....is a 99 plug and play? lol i can't think of any differences but just wanted to be sure. id rather do this than splice 85 connections to change pcm connectors

Everything should be the same remember they use the same jig for the whole production run at most you have different injector connectors and you may or may not have the midline connector for the engine coolant temp sensor pigtail... and depending if its a high altitude production car it might have dual map sensors
!
Connections at the fuse box should be the same but visually verify everything is in the right place I know that the fuse box connectors will swap between 04 plus an earlier but the pinouts might be different because the old four plus fuse box uses micro fuses and capsule fuses

If you're looking to save Weight, the 04 plus fuse box isof lighter....especially when you pull the uneeded A BS relays and whatnot...

Good deal. Not looking to save weight im repairing one that has had an engine fire....the pcm connectors are all melted...still runs but the trans is fucked. someone has done some shoddy wiring repair work. I did better work on my tonka trucks as a kid lol
