i wanna run s pipe so it wont hit the cruise control thinking bout running a 3.5 down to 2.5 from the throttlebody and 3in to a 2.5 from the novi

or should i just use 2.5 piping for everything

use whatever fits. piping will make minimal difference in the performance of the system at your power levels.

Yeah you could move the cruise somewhere push it around the side of the strut tower a little further or move it down , I'd use 2.5 inch just to help with clearance on the pipes I had to cut a decent amount of support from the fenders to fit my 3" stuff only reason I went 3 is I got a bunch of pipe thrown in with my exhaust set up

i was shocked that the turbonnie needed no cutting for two 2.5 pipes fit easily through an oem charcoal canister opening

I'm 97% sure that GM fully planned for that car to be turbo'd. Otherwise they would have stuck a 3100 in it.

Yea the 1.5 Gen Wbody is ALOT different. And I have never seen one with IC piping. I think you're on your own.

in terms of the frontend and fenders/etc its all pretty much the same 1st, 1.5, 2nd gens

im think im gunna set it up like this, no wonder my iat jump up even higher after i vent all that hot air right back the air filter

That should work fine. You'll have to get rid of your vcuum res tho. Which is no big deal.

only thing thats different is the early buggers had nice towing ears on the front subframe horns and those can be cut off and are only 1st gen iirc

for your HVAC. sorta there to keep your hvac actuators from going to their home position during prolonged low manifold vac say long uphill grade...wot period, etc

if nothings leaking and the check valve is fine youll probably never notice its gone...but if it goes from dash to defrost while romping on it youll know what it is...
