If your looking to get out to the track more often....
The Chicagoland Chapter of the Buick Gran Sport Club races 4-6 times each year year. Last year we average about 16 cars per event. About an even split between V8 Gran Sports and Turbo V6 Regals. But other Buick powered cars are welcome (The 3800 is a Buick motor, even if it's in a Pontiac). I'll have my Regal GS there.
It's bracket racing. Sometimes a 9 sec car will loose to a 14 second car. After the bracket racing, you can always go back to the track's test & tune program.
Great group of people. If you have never raced before, don't worry - it's low pressure and folks will help you learn.
First race is May 11th at Route 66.
