Went to lunch in the bonnie and a interesting new rotational thumping noise appeared. It seems to be coming from the pass rear tire. Its not too loud, and increases with the speed of the vehicle. Its almost like a tire with a flat spot, but the tires are good and this car is daily driven. Remember this has rear drums, any ideas what that could be?

Now apearing in Hanover Park
Rust bubble in the braking surface of the drum

Piece of rust/metal rolling around in the drum

Wheel bearing has a bad spot

Flat spot on the tire (can happen after hitting pot hole, curb, or if there is a manuf. defect in the tire tread that causes a section/chunk to fall away)

Jack up the rear end and spin the tire by hand, see if you can still hear the noise. If so, follow your ear to the problem.
