an 01 gt/gtp engine bay harness (and fuse box) the interior to fusebox harness plug will bolt right to it
3800 and 4t65e/axles, you can keep the trans cooler lines but youll need the 3800 HP/LP PS lines and pump, rig/make new fuel lines

its just sitting in a bin with an 04 pcm and harness that we were gonna merge into a DBW rear engine harness whenever we get to that point
i have an 03 imp harness i can use instead....the 01 harness has been sitting for 6 years

That is pretty much the swap i did and james pretty much covered it. Only thing i would add is a bigger radiator. The stock 3.4 ones are thin as shit.

last they made the 4t60 was 95 or 96 i thought. the LA1 imp/mc don't have a 4T65? sure it isn't a 4T40 like the GA's ?

3400 W-bodies got the 4T65. Grand Am/Aleros got the 4t45 shit.

Sure it's not a LIM/UIM gasket issue on the 3.4... IIRC the 3.1 and 3.4 had a different but still problematic LIM gasket. I replaced the one in my mom's chevy van 3 times, lol

I have no idea I'm no mechanic lol, I've never even seen te car he just asked me how hard it would be to swap motors and if I wanted to do it, I really don't but he's a good friend of mine

Head problems are uncommon on the gm v6s. I'll bet money it is a lim gasket... Just saying you could probably do a $150 fix instead of a full on swap.

ive had a few blow hg's but it was usually due to massive neglect but the lim coolant leak can run down betweent he head and block and look like a HG leak

mostly its the cam or a wiped bottomend due to oil contamination via coolant or metal shards

cool would be a rwd conversion with a ls motor. not a usual 3.8 swap.
