they wanted $3k for it

He's talked them down to $2k

body of car looks good, except for a smallish dent in the passenger door

alt probably needs replaced from how it was acting....

and oil leakz....massive....valve cover gaskets DEFINATELY and if they haven't been done yet, the LIMs probably too

and his blower doesn't work, don't know if it's a fuse, unit needs replaced, or the switch is bad

Would this be good for $2k? They said they paided $2,300 for it less than a year ago at a dealer

With those gaskets replaced, shouldn't the car be good for a while, if he doesn't do cold motor burnouts, etc, treats it good? I could most likely do the LIM's and VC gaskets myself and save him moneys on that

Hey, if your friend is serious...my car will be up for sale soon. All new brakes on it, car is pretty clean for it's age. It's been demodded, but will still probably run easy 13's.

I don't even know yet, I need to fix a crush washer on the left front caliper and add new valve guide seals for it to be 100%. My knee jerk price is right around $3K though. I cleaned it up pretty well, so I may be able to ask more, but the economy sucks so if I do that it may just sit for awhile before it sells. I forgot to add it has a 2.5" DP on it, and a custom stainless exhaust.

I tired calling him all day yesterday, but his phone is off...or dead, he had been talking about Verizon giving him a free phone because his charger was f'ning up....so it may be too late
