I was planing on second gen unless you haves reason I should go grand am lol

the only reason to go grand am is the lighter caliper and rotor. id stick with the 2nd gen if your gonna drop the coin and drive it on the street. i know 15" montana rims clear em.

besides at least the cast iron caliper is in front of the axle so its helping keep weight up front

that's because you were mixing radials and bias ply tires. I would bet that is the only reason it does that.
