anybody have good l32 or l67 short block

i did the no rod mod a few weeks ago and after a month of boating and telling my car fu every time i walk past it, i tore it down yesterday and found that everything else looks ok, well other than 2 thrown rods and one missing piston, i have not pulled the cam yet but from what i can see it looks ok thus far, ill put up carnage pics later, so in the mean time I'm looking for a short block

there are 2 L67s in the aurora u-pull-it yard right now. one is a 97, the other is something else. maybe a 2000.

do you know what they sell them for money wise, and the car braking was my fault should have know not to cheep out on the boost controller and boost gauge lol

the boost gauge would only read to 10lbs, and i believe the boost controller failed it hit pretty high boost on a 2nd gear pull and went boom

generally you can get a shortblock if you pull it yourself for 150 - 200 with no warrantee... call them up.

they will come over with the end loader and lift the car off the subframe then they can come back and hoist the motor off and drop it into your bed after you pay for it

they way it looks i think the piston shattered then it threw the rod, i wish i knew how much boost it was running at the time lol, you could hear it run out of fuel right before it let go it almost was like it hit revlimiter

damn sorry dude. Sucks to see. The pick n pull on 173 usually has some engines in there. Last time i was there they had a complete L67.

It was an l26, hopefully the cam is still good if it is I'll throw another l26 in there this weekend just so I can use it for the rest of the year, next spring I plan to do an l32 and upgrade the fuel system but I don't feel like spending that money right now
