Is this an alright choice for brakes?

I purchased these eBay rotors/pads about 4 years ago. They were actually alright brakes considering the GP is a boat and the poor rear brakes. To keep the cost down, I was thinking of pickup up this set of brakes. Not sure if I should just do a set up blanks, but I kind of liked these. Decent price and came with ceramic pads.

Buy something from a local store with a good warranty

Pretty much all that stuff is going to be the same crap now. Even the stuff you get from the local store is going to be cheaply made. That deal isn't bad though if price is your only concern.

Ive had ebay drilled and slotted, EBC blanks, and Napa premium blanks. The EBC and Napas were better IMO then the drilled/slotted. Napas were cheaper. Id go with those.

Really liked the EBC red stuff pads though.

Premium fronts are $33 each.

Premium rears are $28 each.

EBC pads for all 4 is $142

$264 for everything, which is a bit more then what you posted. Better performance IMO however.

my brother has ran a set of r1 concepts with f-body brakes now for about 5 years and has about 75k on the rotors/pads, and he isn't gentle with the brakes (lots of freeway driving).. no complaints. i've personally driven the car and f-body brakes and his setup is in my future at some point.
