I agree with KJ 100%, 3800's are super easy to tune. You can learn in no time if you put forth the effort. It's a lot of reading, but more doing. Take baby steps little by little, and eventually you'll get the hang of it. You can easily justify the cost too, cause a dyno tune isn't cheap.

check out ls1tech's sponsor sale section. usually some of the sponsors have deals going on with HPT like free shipping or free support blah blah. HPT won't help you. THey do the programming and can help you with technical issues...

but if you need tuning advice, then you need to contact the vendor form which you purchased HPT.

mug_face I will respond in here in case others want to see my response. Id always recommend buying a tuner and learning but if you don't trust yourself like alot of people do, a "canned" PCM tune will be ok at your mod level. ZZP offers many options.

ZZPerformance - ZZP 1.0 PCM #ZZ-10PCM

But really if you buy a tuner you can do all this yourself with minimal research. I know a few local guys that tune $$$ but its a big liability. As always you should have a perfectly running car before it gets tuned. Tuning over mechanical problems does not solve issues. If you are worried about the rear O2's get O2 simulators.

I think I bought my HPT from ZZP just so I wouldn't have to pay IL tax, and it gets here next day.
