Ok thanks guys I'll send him a PM soon. How much do these generally go for? I called a local yard that supplies a lot of dealers in the area and they said they have an L36 with 140k for $600 pulled and delivered.

he should be able to get you one with a lot less miles for about the same price, I got an l26 with 14k miles on it for about the same price, it didn't look like it had ever been run lol

Lol wow really? Not a bad deal at all. I'm basically looking to do this as cheap ad possible engine just has to be in good shape an not over 140k because that's about where the odometer is at.

Still runs fine, will probably be selling the engine whole or parting it out.

FYI: Pretty sure if you buy a L26 you need to swap over a bunch of parts from the L67 including the heads. If you don't want todo a tear down just look for a L67. Please correct me if I am wrong.

yeah the whole top end and the crank pulley would need swapped if using a l36/l26 in a supercharged car, looks like his sig says his cars a gt tho probably making it a stock gt again

This. Not looking to swap any parts over, would like to do a direct drop-in.

pm phatride, or pm me and ill get you his number it only takes one day normally and the motor is dropped off through him he may be able to get a better deal on a motor with higher miles on it every thing i priced was in the 10-30k mile range and it was the same price as the 140k mile one you were talking about
