check out the trucks CL threads, or post in there. the guys in ther do nothing but search for deals on trucks.

You're going to have to find one from a 1st or 2nd owner to find anything decent. Every single one of that bodystyle I see is either a scrap truck or LOBO'd out.

I just don't understand the prices on these trucks; Whatsoever.

An Expedition with half the miles of the same year in similar condition could be had for less than half the price of any of those F-150s.

They are the exact same vehicle; but has a Cargo area instead of a Bed.....

I actually kinda like those as crew cabs... Never been a fan of that bodystyle but i kinda like those. That with a 4.6 would be a solid beater

I've also been on the look out for a truck of the same years but I have mostly focused on GM trucks and leaving the ferds as a second option but I can't believe the kind of cash people want for rust buckets, truck market is nutty.

Still looking. No more than $3500. I've looked at about 1/2 a dozen and they all were much worse than the ad and owner said they were. I know the amount really makes it tough.
