Just wanted to announce that the University of Illinois Motorsports team will be joining us at NoFlyZone-Midwest! They are a completely student run academic operation entrusted with the designing, building and racing of the FormulaSAE team car. They will setup some displays and information about their program, making their program known to the area in a new way. But thats not all...
They will be joining us to do some runway racing as well. True, they may not win any full halfmile sprints... their vehicle will be great to see lineup next to others on the runway, and is sure to instill some pride in the team. Besides, with a 0-60 of less than 3 seconds, i'm sure it will get the inial pull on a few and make for awesome video.
