What do you runners use for carrying something to drink??

I've always been a bike rider and had plenty to drink with me.

Now that I'm doing this engineering project, I'm walking 5 miles a day and need a drink.
What's a modern set up you runners recommend??

I've been using my bike bottle in a nail pouch, but I keep dropping it when I stop to work in peds & vaults.

I have my Army issued ones still that I use for hiking.

I just drink when I’m done. Make sure you drink enough all day before so that you’re plenty hydrated, then drink when you’re done. I’ve run 13 miles at a time doing this and been fine.

Just don't put anything other than water in it unless you plan on washing it afterwards every time.

I'm good, found a dual bottle deal with a small pocket for a computer phone.
I can't go 4-5 hours with out a drink.
Now that it's getting warmer, I'm having trouble making it through the day on 1 bottle of gatorade.
On these large areas sometimes I don't get back to the trucks area for hours, so I have to drink as I work.
Costs too much money to walk back for a drink, and walk all the way back.

I only run when chased. Haven’t come across anything scary enough to make me run in a long time.

I can’t remember the name of it but there’s a fanny pack type of belt (bad reference, doesn’t look like a fanny pack) that holds water. I’ll ask my wife if she still has the info.
