Officially Official 2017 TCG Weight Loss Challenge

When: Sunday January 8th - Sunday April 2, 2017

Rules:
Weigh in on Sundays by midnight and notify me via PM
Picture of your feet on the same scale with a newspaper or an image on your computer or tablet or phone that dates your weigh in (Google 'what day is it').
You must use the same scale for the entire competition, if something happens and you need to change PM me.
$20 buy in, winner takes all plus some TCG swag. If we get 11+ competitors then 2nd gets their money back. If we get 21+ competitors then 3rd place gets their money back.
The winner Will be computed based on percentage of weight loss.
Anonymous participation is available but if you win, you will lose the anonymity... Just an FYI

Full Disclosure: I am participating, but I have basically no chance to win and don't want to. I currently weigh 198 lbs and I am 6'6" so I am merely participating to keep myself honest and engage with my buddies at TCG. I will be on vacation from the evening of January 10th - 16th so I will miss the weigh in on the 15th. I will weigh in on the 16th and post the results shortly thereafter. If I have any other conflicts along the way I will post them in advance.

Fine Print: My goal is to post weekly results by the end of the day Monday. If you miss a weigh in without telling me first you are disqualified unless you can prove it was outside your control.If your scale is a hunk of junk, buy a new one now. You must pay by January 8th to participate.

I always tell myself I'm going to get shredded for summer, then end up settling for being 203-207 lbs and ~12-13% body fat. This will give me a little extra motivation :)

I'm a chunky 216 right now, which is too much. I could get down to the 190's pretty easily it would just require more discipline with what I eat

I haven't been <200 lbs since 2012 when I cut down to 180lbs and ~6% BF for a competition. What sucks is that I really have to go low on calories to drop weight. Some people with pretty fast metabolisms can eat 3k calories/day and not do cardio and still lean out. I have to eat 2100 calories a day or less plus a little cardio to shed fat. Sucks

I'm about the same I have to do cardio every day to get in the low 190's id love to get sub 10%
