Clock Tower Resort w/ Tilted Kilt

Update 4/6: OK, reservations can now be made by calling (815)398-6000 and saying you're with The Chicago Garage. You'll have to pay the $89 group rate when you make the reservation, as explained in the contract below:

Each individual(s) will be asked to guarantee arrival with a deposit of one nights’ room & tax at the time the reservation is made, and that any deposit may be refunded if the reservation is cancelled prior to 48 hours of reserved arrival.

We have a total of 10 rooms blocked off for us that they're going to hold until April 17. After that they release those rooms to the general public. I'm pretty sure the group rate will still apply after that, but there's no guarantee a room will be available.

Alright, party peoples. The TCG Cordova track day two years ago had a hotel party of epic greatness not since duplicated ... but that's about to change.

After Byron on May 1 the plan is to head up to the Clock Tower Resort in Rockford. There is a Tilted Kilt on the premises that's open until 2am. I've been quoted a room rate of $89 for the night if we can lock in 20 people. The normal rate is $109. So find someone to shack up with and split the costs.

Post up here if you plan to come and if we get enough people I'll take the next step and block off some rooms. I'll get more specifics once we have enough people committed, like who to call for a reservation and the group code for the discount.

It's about a 20-30 minute drive from Byron to the hotel.

It's really cool. TV screens everywhere, a lot of the girls are smoking with ample racks, and the layout of the place has the bar area elevated over the dining areas.

Not sure if I am IN yet. Would have been more en ticing if this was Friday night. Then I could wake up and get to the track nice and early after a short ride. It seemed getting up early and going to the track was hard for most people last year.

If I don't stay the night, ill probably come to chill/bs after the track on the way home.
