💦 Detailing Inside Windshield of vehicle haze

Okay what's the trick to keeping the windshield free of a haze? I use invisible glass with a clean microfiber or sometimes two. Spray a generous amount of cleaner than use one microfiber than buff the glass again with a second one. Any products or tips? This is a vehicle that doesn't get driven daily.

I sometimes have to use that stoners several times before the glass gets completely clean and clear. I spray a generous amount on the windshield then scrub with the microfiber. Repeat that a couple times, then follow with a clean microfiber for a clean windshield.

Keep out of the defrost setting and double check that the outside vent (recirculate/max ac) position isn't setup to send airflow to the defrost vents.

No with just a microfiber. If needed I may get it damp first. But most of the time it wipes clean with a dry microfiber

I think he meant what product do you use for the first step, you said cleaner wax which is kind of vague. I am interested too in your answer.

Oh my bad, I Use mothers cleaner wax (liquid) all interior glass

When i had the Frontier, the windows would be shot within days of cleaning them.
[MENTION=7280]Grabber[/MENTION] informed me that the 303 Aerospace protectant i was using for the dash and trim was likely the cause. Sun through the windshield and glass would cause the product to emit gas ? causing the windows to become hazy.

I have been using the Adams glass cleaner and the Adams interior detailer in my GMC without any issues

Yes, I get that haze all the time. Usually I don't even need a cleaning agent, just a wipe with a microfiber towel gets rid of it.

I shall have to try this shit. The blazer seems to get hazy on all windows pretty quickly. I do not use any dash or interior cleaner though

My neighbor has an 06 G35, he mentioned some vehicles interior materials ( i.e. cloth or leather seats etc ) can also contribute.

my Frontier did not see the mountain sides though :smile:

Seriously, check out airplane plexiglass cleaner. Think about it, a plane would be the last place you want a haze. I used it in my GN and never get any haze, ever. Most small local airports have it. It is a little more expensive but well worth it.

I truely loathe cleaning glass. If the derpy angles needed to clean some of them weren't enough, it takes too many tries to get them clear. My current method is spraying the shit out of them...wiping...use less spray...wipe w/ either new side or new MF towel...then maybe a final mist and wipe with a clean side of a new MF.

Maybe I will have to try the airplane window cleaner.

I actually been meaning to clean my windshield since I have the same issue. My trick is to use balled up newspaper with glass cleaner. You wouldn't it works, but it does. I guess all the bums downtown were onto something.

I've used just a dry microfiber towel and sometimes quick detail spray and a microfiber towel work great.
