It's been at least 3-4 years since Barney has been fully detailed.
waterless wash and a quick detail once a month over the summer has been it.
I purchased Wolfgang's Uber ceramic coating @ Xmas time due to a killer deal and it was meant to be used on the car but with a new truck that sits outside ( for now ) I changed my mind.
I plan to be at the Algonquin Commons car show tomorrow so what better time than now to go all out.
Cleaned the interior dash and trim with woolite diluted in water.
303 Aerospace protectant to "dress"
No real after pics but here's what driving around with T tops off with get you:
Even though the seats are 1/2 leather I wanted to try Leather Masters products, mainly because of this thread:
Nero Mondial Cab: Classic Ferrari Detailing in Michigan
It was difficult to capture the "clean" part of the seat vs the existing condition. I previously used the same diluted woolite "wash" to clean the seats and blue magic leather conditioner.
Here goes, before:
Here is a shot of 1 section cleaned:
The seats in the Ferrari are black and smooth, so I think it showed better.
Here's what the towels looks like:
I will try and get some outdoor sun shots tomorrow of both the leather and the rest of the car.
Optimum No Rinse Wash, clayed with Meg's clay, Polished with Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover via the PC and white polishing pad and sealed with WG Deep Gloss Paint Sealant.
First time using the Total Swirl remover... as I said in the detailing thread, smells like Menzerna ( the companies worked together to come up with the product ). Could it just be a repackaged Menzerna item ? Maybe.
It also creates more dust than I was expecting. I would just stick with the SIP from Menzerna.
The wheels had wheel wax applied back in May. I will use some Optimum Car Wax tomorrow once I get to the show. I will dress the tires with Meg's hyper dressing 3:1 too
