I bought a "stage 1" kit from Adam's last year on sale and have been hanging onto it. Today I'm finally digging in, and starting on my black TA. Never used an orbital polisher like the Porter Cable before (I think that's the style I'm using; thanks again, greasy) but seemed like a good beginner starting piece.

Here's what I'm staring with. :fu:

I've read up on techniques and watched countless YouTube vids but if anyone has any tips for a first-timer, feel free to post up.

Well done. I have a PC in my closet collecting dust. I tried using it once on my old DD like 8 years ago and it left terrible hazing. It may have been due to not dampening the pad prior to use. Ever since then I've just detailed by hand  . But I've been meaning to clean up my current DD. I should order some polish and give it another go.
